My client is a leading Canadian Investment Bank who is looking to expand their presence within US equities in a bid to gain market share and increase their client portfolio. The role will be based in New York and you will be responsible for sales trading institutional and hedge fund electronic client flows. You will be responsible for managing the sales life cycle and managing junior members of the team.
The role will require good business knowledge and will require you to increase customer execution via TCA and recommending bespoke trading strategies. Primarily you will be responsible for driving new business and selling equity algorithmic trading products to US institutions. The role will provide a managerial opportunity and the potential to expand your team.
- Minimum of 6 years experience within equity ecommerce sales selling to algorithmic trading products to institutional and hedge fund clients in the US.
- Strong contacts and portable client base within US institutions
- Strong academic record and strong interpersonal skills, with experience running a team of sales traders.
In Summary – My client is looking to add an experienced hire to their team in New York covering US and Canadian Institutions within the equity ecommerce / electronic space. This Sales Trading position will cover institutional and hedge fund clients covering algorithmic trading products including execution and TCA / Transaction Cost Analytics, Pre-Trade and post Trade.
