Human Resources Director
Our client is a mid-sized company located in the Keller / Fort Worth, Texas area. This dynamic organization is creating a new position for a Human Resources Director. The HR Director will bring the experience and energy to create a world class HR function in an employee focused environment.
The Human Resources Director will be responsible for functions such as employee relations, compensation, recruiting, personnel policies, training, benefits and regulatory compliance. The right candidate will play an integral part in our client’s future expansion and will champion an employee oriented culture.
¦Key responsibilities include:
Serve as an active and engaged participant on the leadership team working strategically and in partnership with management to ensure alignment with both the business and HR objectives.
Create, implement, and drive company-wide HR policies and procedures, rewrite the Employee Handbook, and recommend HR best practices to Sr. management.
Design, spearhead, and lead company-wide training programs to include safety, harassment, product knowledge, management development, emergency preparedness, etc., while maintaining the company’s culture. Develop course material, instructional and student guides through collaboration with vendors and department heads. Manage proper training rotation and maintain training completion documentation.
Administer compensation programs, ensure compliance with compensation practices, conduct salary surveys and perform related analysis to ensure equitable and competitive pay practices.
Develop an evaluation program, and partner with management to facilitate development opportunities as assigned.
Oversee the full suite of benefits. Provide recommendations and implementation of plan design changes, including vendor negotiations. Partner with management in negotiating contracts with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, consultants for services, premiums, plan design, and administration.
Ensures appropriate compliance and oversight of the administration of the health and welfare plans, which include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) retirement plan.
Provide leadership for the assessment, selection, development, and management of current and recruited talent.
Create job descriptions, perform benchmark activities and milestones; develop and deliver training; monitor performance Develop, generate, and distribute human capital related metric reporting; provide analysis to enable management to make sound decisions regarding workforce utilization.
Create and coordinate enthusiastic communication of employee recognition programs, company-wide luncheons, and quarterly state of the union meetings.
Remain current on recent federal, state, and case law changes and monitor labor law updates affecting HR.
Uphold the company’s employee relations and people management philosophies.

¦You will need:
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree in HR or related field or equivalent college coursework and experience is required.
Minimum Experience required: At least 8+ years of Human Resource Management background with heavy emphasis in Operations, strong technical and analytical skills, and an understanding of work flow process. Have a demonstrated Human Resources knowledge in all Generalist areas. Experience working in a small company highly desired.MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with ADP payroll systems
Experience with employment law and HR policy creation/revision
Benefits administration experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
