Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Director of Information Systems. Candidate will manage the IS department operational and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning, organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Candidate will have the ability to strategize, plan and successfully lead the conversion and implementation of a virtual environment from a physical environment, using virtual and cloud technologies.

Manage EDI at a top level to ensure consistency of EDI standards and customer support.

Ensure all aspects of systems, ERP, database or otherwise maintain 99.9% uptime, well at the same time deliver services and data in a timely and effective manner.

Knowledge and understanding of both the Infrastructure and Information System side of the business.

Will be responsible for taking the lead on defining and launching the next generation Oracle ERP system.

Lead and support IT system administrators to devise the IT framework, technology procedures and practices.

Support and further develop the policies and structures for managing the underlying IT infrastructure including PC's, Servers, Internet connectivity, network, MPLS and telecommunications systems to ensure maximum user availability while at the same time delivering maximum performance.

Develop and implement all IS policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provision.

Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements.

Participate in budget planning activities and develop, monitor, manage and achieve annual departmental budget expectations.

Directly supervises managers of Information Systems and Business Administration Systems Department (15 people).

Bachelor's degree

10 to 15 years progressive management experience in information systems.

Strong leadership skills.

Strong sense of Business Ethics and Accountability.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Technical knowledge of current network and PC operating systems, hardware, telecommunication and data communication protocols and standards, including knowledge of storage area networks, .Net, SQL, HTML, Mainframe, LAN, and WAN architectures.

Working knowledge of multiple platforms (ie. Linux, Windows, combination of virtual and ) and ability to integrate complex solutions that support a stable end user environment

Knowledge of SQL, Windows 2008, Exchange (2003 and 2010), backup solutions (Xiotech), VMware, virtual environment, Blackberry Enterprise Server, CensorNet.

Certification in Microsoft (MCSE, MCITP, MCST) or Novell (CNE), and/or Cisco preferred.
