1. Responsible for the planning, management and support of information systems,
telecommunications/network systems and infrastructure and end user computing
activity during the procurement, installation, modification and maintenance
of all information systems and associated infrastructure managed and/or
maintained by the Information Systems department.
2. Researches, analyzes and resolves questions and problems and promotes the
efficient and proper use of information systems/infrastructure.
3. Provides leadership role in the development of a secure and reliable computing
environment for the hospital and assures compliance with legal, regulatory and
HIPAA security requirements.
4. Works with the entire Administrative leadership team to support and achieve
information system projects and goals that have been established.
B.S. in Computer Science or a similar degree with up to five (5) years of progressive information system healthcare management experience that includes system management, project management, local and wide area design and client server applications. A Master's Degree in information systems management is highly desirable. Relevant experience demonstrating competency will be considered. Informal and continuing education is required to maintain credentials and sound knowledge of information systems principles, as well as a solid understanding of the overall duties of the specific areas that report to this position.
