Three Rivers|Midlands Campus is a 59-bed comprehensive residential treatment facility for children and adolescents providing treatment for psychiatric and chemical dependency related illnesses. We organize our treatment around helping children and teenagers remove barriers and develop interest in their futures and career aspirations. Our therapeutic model is collaborative; working with families, patients and agencies to maximize therapeutic goals and individual treatment. Three Rivers|Midlands Campus currently has a Director of Nursing position available. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:

• Provides overall leadership and management for a complex program which emphasizes high quality residential care delivered in a cost effective manner.
• Creates a safe environment for the residents by maintaining a positive normative culture throughout the facility.
• Provides for employee safety and well-being and ensures a competent and well-trained staff is provided for the facility.
• Maintains a system of communication and reporting between all staff on all shifts, as well as with other departments involved in the ongoing operation of the facility.
• Champions and maintains a normative culture
• Supervises residents’ attainment of treatment goals
• Participates in program service development
• Manages multiple programs and staff

The following are the job requirements for the Director of Nursing position:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current license and registration by the South Carolina Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Minimum of at least three years direct nursing experience working with adolescents/children in residential, juvenile or education setting.
One year supervisory experience required.
Must possess valid, SC Driver's License.
