This position sells cloud services and products using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation.

Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner by:

  • Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services
  • Maintaining up-to-date awareness of activities and industry trends
  • Making regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads
  • Establishing long-term, ongoing repeat relationships
  • Acting to close deals & finalize contacts
  • Meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Maintaining levels of sales to generate adequate revenue
  • Maintaining up-to-date working knowledge of the industries served and the products & services

  • Start-up and entrepreneurial experience desirable

Skill sets needed

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering/Computer Science or Management
  • 10+ years of solution sales, account & relationship management skills in the software industry
  • Experience in the software services business or Consulting (global delivery or off-shoring skills desirable)
  • Understanding of the software development methodologies especially Agile.
  • Passion for the Microsoft platform especially the Cloud
  • Ability to engage with the CTO/CIO/VP of Engineering
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills: multiple industries and domain knowledge in some combination of Healthcare, ISVs, Engineering, Manufacturing, Media, & Financial Services
  • Start-up and entrepreneurial experience desirable
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
