This position is responsible for driving tailored marketing strategy and initiatives for Health Care Reform Unit (of the Medicare/Medicaid division) that result in expanded relationships with MCOs, new sales, retained clients, and up-sell opportunities.
-Centralize market knowledge and insights for identifying market opportunity areas
-Work cross-functionally to centralize market knowledge/insights and develop marketing communications for clients, members, and second sells
-Establish appropriate market segmentation
-Development of value propositions
-Supports optimization of product priorities and opportunities
-Development and execution of strategic marketing plans to support division goals and objectives
-Member of the division leadership team supporting Julie Huppert
-Optimize value proposition, messaging & positioning
-Execution of plans through Marketing Shared Resources (i.e. Digital, Corporate Communications, Creative, Events, Training).
-Establish, track and optimize marketing efforts
-The Marketing Director, will work closely with key leaders in the Health Care Reform Unit, Marketing (i.e. Digital, Corporate Communications, Creative) to identify and address market needs that drive desired financial results.
-This role has both a business-to-business and business-to-consumer focus.
-Bachelor's Degree required with degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
-MBA strongly preferred
-Minimum 10 years relevant experience in Marketing (i.e. CPG industry, B2B company with strong marketing competency, agency, or consultancy)
-Experience in insurance, PBM and/or HCR marketing strongly preferred
-Strong people leader and strategic thinker with a track record of leading campaigns from concept through execution.
-Demonstrated success developing consumer/market insights into marketing executions with proven results.
-Excellent oral and written communications skills.
-Previous experience working with internal creative teams or outside agencies.
-Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management industry or related fields preferred.
-Track record of exceeding set metrics. Focus on impact and results.
-Unusually high work ethic and whatever it takes¿ mentality.
-Ability to work under extreme pressure and strict timelines, and to thrive in a fast-paced, high demand environment.
-Superior time management and computer skills.
