Provide leadership, direction and development opportunities for the user experience team.
Develop and articulate a Vision for User Experience that aligns with short term and long term business objectives.
Develop product strategies and develop a roadmap to meet those objectives.
Evaluate, identify and implement relevant industry standards, best practices, and other techniques for application in the company’s products and development process.
Prioritize, define and lead product development.
Write clear and detailed PRDs, test plans, feature lists and other internal documentation as needed.
Engage closely with development team on new features and functionality of products.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure optimal product performance.
Work closely with project manager to ensure timelines are met.
Work with UI team to implement easy-to-understand interfaces and products that align with company branding.
Research new technologies, User Interface concepts or design and incorporate new methods.
Establish metrics reporting, tracking and analysis of content programs
Determine the most effective content based on analytics and optimize site content.
Design, Concept and Render WSI weather demonstration animations as part of the conceptualization process.
Review all product specifications to ensure compliance with requirements, completeness and consistency.
Design, deliver and analyze usability testing for new functionality prior to release
Work closely with development on implementation issues and resolve all questions of software behavior.
Participate in the QA process to ensure functional alignment with specifications.
Manage vendor relationships with payment fulfillment partners, content partners, etc.
Other duties, responsibilities and development opportunities as deemed appropriate by your supervisor.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, design or related field
5+ years experience in developing product strategy
5+ years experience in internet or mobile services
Availability to travel up to 10%

Skills/Competencies Required:
Must have a strong aesthetic sense and intuitive understanding of what makes a truly great interactive experience.
Proven understanding and involvement in business strategy.
Proficient in applications such as Flash, Director, Fireworks, Adobe AfterEffects, Photoshop, and Illustrator or 3D applications such as 3D Studio Max or Maya.
Excellent strategic and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop influential partner relationships.
Ability to interpret and understand complex plans, strategies and forecasts.
Ability to prioritize and coordinate a significant number of projects.
A high level proficiency in the use of all other Microsoft Office products.
Very detail-oriented and organized.
Excellent and effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening). This includes an ability to respectfully listen and consider input from colleagues, but making final decisions in equally respectful ways whether or not that input is incorporated.
Motivated, organized and self-directed.
Ability to work within a team, to multitask and to meet timelines and schedules, and to prioritize.
Experience working in a matrix/agile environment preferred.
Graphics design and web design experience preferred.
