The Business Transformation team at R/GA partners with clients to leverage technology; creating new business models, products and services. Consequently, BT Consultants will work on high-profile projects to support the long-term growth strategies of the company that will be driven from the C-Suite. Projects include strategic consulting, research and analytics, physical product design, digital services, and social communications.
An ideal candidate will have a strong desire to rethink how to adapt Job Duties:
This role requires the ability to be a trusted partner to our Fortune 500 client list through the following functions:

Lead strategic innovation initiatives utilizing cross-functional teams across R/GA’s strategic resources and subject matter experts

Work with producers to create work plans and project scope to deliver business impact on high priority issues for C-Level clients

Manage a combined direct and virtual team in the execution of that plan

Identify opportunities to impact business performance, including potential white space, consumer and customer growth areas, cost optimization and business process improvements

Lead and supervise research, analysis and development of new products and services that drive integrated, socially relevant marketing communications

Formulate product and service roadmaps to help clients make focused decisions for short and long term investment in ideas

Lead and facilitate project meetings and strategy workshops with project team / clients involving senior executives

Work with our prototyping studio to develop appropriate representation of concepts and evolve through an agile development process

Present analysis and recommendations to SVP/EVP level client on how to commercialize and operationalize concepts

Act as a liaison between Business Transformation and development teams to ensure development is on strategy and continually evolving according to brand vision and changing contexts


In short, the candidate should have the ability to structure innovation projects and assemble the right resources to identify and solve business/brand/innovation problems and conduct thoughtful, detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses with a variety of analytical tools, prioritize opportunities and ultimately recommend strategic courses of action:

Proven track record of identifying key human insights and turning them into commercial successes

Excellent people manager. You have led, developed and built capabilities in teams and individuals.

Strong project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, lead long-term projects, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Superlative communication and presentation skills; must have a confident presence

Experience to deliver on this role should include the following:

Masters degree, preferably in a design related field involving human factors research, analytics and/or creative solutions

5-7 years of work experience in a director level consulting role

Digital experience is preferred, in particular, the ability to think about its role in connecting physical products and environments (no technical skills, rather deep strategic understanding)
