CNO Financial Group is seeking an experienced business leader, skilled in developing, implementing and managing creative technology solutions for a growing sales organization.

The Director, Sales Technology will be responsible for supporting Washington National (WN) sales growth through leading the development of business requirements, implementation, and adoption of the WN field sales technology platform and tools. The technology platform includes multi-million dollar applications that are being continuously enhanced, and are a significant driver of sales growth and operating efficiencies. The evolving technology platform is used by field partners in the PMA and WN Partners distribution channels (with varying requirements by channel), the WN marketing and sales support teams, and interfaces with WN New Business & Worksite to support efficient business processing. This role is responsible for determining WN field technology priorities, using input from field partners, competitors, vendors, and WN Marketing/Sales Support staff. The role helps to "sell" new distribution partners on the WN opportunity through promotion of WN's field technology platform and figuring out how to best integrate with their proprietary and third party systems.

This position requires an ability to envision applications that will effectively promote WN products and services through a field technology platform (sales/marketing), understanding of technology and databases (speaking the language of IT), ability to execute (project management and people leadership), financial aptitude (CBAs), and ability to personally sell/promote use of the technology platform.

Requirements:
• 7-10 years experience in marketing and/or field sales
• Experience with managing web-based technology platforms and solutions
• Experience managing and leading direct and indirect reports
• Project management experience
• Excellent communication skills to bridge an effective yet collaborative relationship with business stakeholders, third party vendors, and IT staff
