About Strategic Sales at InMobi:
The Strategic Sales team at InMobi is responsible for establishing long-‐term partnerships and selling to a named group of large global advertisers and agencies. The team develops relationships with senior leadership in global and regional headquarters of its clients, and offers tailored solutions for their needs. The team also coordinates global sales activity for these accounts to ensure an exceptional global service experience.
Reporting into the Global Head of Strategic Sales you will be responsible for driving global partnerships and selling to a named group of advertisers and agencies in the North American region. This is a very unique role, as you will have the opportunity to help build your team in North America, combined with the security of joining a company that has a proven platform and business model from its international leadership position. In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn and help build the global mobile ecosystem which is experiencing hockey-‐stick growth similar to what was seen in the late ‘90s with the launch of the Internet.
Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with senior leadership at the
HQs of strategic accounts, in order to drive global revenues from these accounts
Establishing global partnership agreements with strategic accounts
Aligning team members in other regions to ensure that InMobi serves the global
strategic clients in all regions
Setting up the Strategic Sales team consisting of Regional Managers in various
locations in North America
Developing an account plan, coordinating a global strategy and revenue plan,
and contributing to a global go-‐to-‐market strategy, for each strategic account
Suggesting product enhancements/ pricing changes/ new packages/ different
creatives that will enable us to serve our clients better
Articulating InMobi’s value proposition and the benefits of mobile advertising at
various industry and client events
Building relationships: You should have a proven ability to develop strong client relationships (internal and external clients), and be able to work with cross-‐ functional teams to ‘get things done’ even when you have no authority over these teams
Existing relationships: You should have existing relationships with senior leadership and media buying decision makers in leading Fortune 100 companies and top agencies based in the US
Driving global partnerships: You should have experience in working with various levels of client organizations to develop and operationalize global partnership agreements
Media knowledge: You should have a good understanding of the media and advertising landscape, including agencies and digital advertising
Accountability and ownership: You will be given a lot of independence and responsibility in this role. You should be willing to take ownership and be accountable for revenue targets
Ability to travel: This role will require domestic travel in North America based on client location, and limited international travel (for regional/ team meetings)
Communication ability: This role requires lots of communication, both verbal and written. You should be an exceptional communicator and have strong attention to detail in your communications
