Provides daily operations for The Ashtabula Clinic.

- Excellent communication, managerial and leadership skills.
- College degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years previous practice management experience preferred.
- Practice Finance experience also preferred.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the hiring, development, evaluation, retention, and termination of employees.
Remain current on Healthcare Developments and educate physicians/staff.
Prepare monthly P&L statements for all physicians.
Prepare monthly financials for The Ashtabula Clinic (TAC) reconciliation for ACMC Finance.
Perform various other monthly reconciliations
Preparation of capital expenditure requests with appropriate quotes and warrantee information
Participate in the annual budget process.
Preparation of lease and space agreement for independent and aligned physicians.
Maintenance of any current or future lease contract for space.
Participate, as requesting, in physician recruitment activities.
Review all outstanding accounts receivable and follow-up on old accounts.
Prepare & sign check requests for Accounts Payable.
Assist in the installation of an EMR and become the staff champion of the system.
JCAHO – Responsible for staying current with Joint Commission standards and educating physicians/staff on regulations. Ensure all physicians and staff adhere to Joint Commission policies and procedures..
Hold monthly satellite office meetings at each location to discuss current operations and process improvements.
Prepare Bi-Weekly Payroll for all employees.
Review Overtime Reports and Share with Physicians.
Work with Office of Patient Experience regarding patient complaints. Discuss them with the physicians/staff and respond to patient.
Participate as requested in monthly departmental meetings of the medical records department, patient access representatives, and nursing staff.
Attend the following Monthly Meetings – Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and ACMC Management
Attend weekly TAC management meeting.
Attend bi-weekly TAC PAC meetings
Attend various other meetings as requested
Address all physician and staff concerns in a prompt fashion
Participate in the maintenance and creation of TAC Policy and Procedures.
Oversee ordering all the supplies for the MOB and satellites including, but not limited to, office supplies, meds, books, PDR’s, magazines, etc…
Participate in office inspections by JCAHO, OSHA, Medicare, Medicaid, or insurance carriers.
Ensure good working relationship between all Department of TAC.
Oversee the management of the medical records department, patient access representatives, clinical staff, and billing staff.
Assist with ACMC sponsored health fairs, prostate clinics, fund drives, etc…
Risk Management – Work with ACMC quality and risk management personnel to develop and maintain an effective risk management program.
Assist in setting up new physician offices. This includes space, supplies, staffing, equipment and paperwork.
Ensure that Nurse Supervisor conducts annual competencies of all clinical staff and all staff remains current with their licensure.
Maintain current CLIA and Terminal Distributor licenses.
Oversee any office inspections by insurance carriers.
Assist with updating and review of charge tickets.
