Reporting to the Vice President for Cyber Business Development, the Cyber Business Development Director is responsible for cyber market analysis, assisting with strategy development, executing the IO/IA strategy, and monitoring progress toward organizational objectives.

The Director will identify pursuits and engage on capture and proposal activities, lgate and bid reviews, and develop capture/win strategies.

The position requires a close working relationship with Raytheon’s business units and senior cyber and business development leaders across the enterprise.

Other responsibilities include:
a) development of solutions to customer problems,, b) identification strategic partnering candidates, c) performing win/loss analyses and related process improvements; and d) efficient management of resources.

The candidate will have significant domain expertise in the Cyber industry, with special focus on select government agencies to include the FAA, DOE, DHS. Candidate will have appreciation for Cyber technologies, solutions, positioning strategies, alliance partners, and competitors to assist in shaping programs and increasing Pwin. Candidate will have experience involving all aspects of sales, marketing and business development activities with increasing levels of responsibility. Candidate will have significant senior-level relationships across the Federal/Civilian industry with both companies and clients allowing the candidate to operate in a business development capacity very effectively and efficiently. Candidate will initially focus on leveraging developing cyber activities in these markets for near-term growth, while building a longer-term pipeline to facilitate future growth:

Required Skills and Experiences:
·

14+ years of experience in strategic planning and business development

·

5+ years experience developing cyber security solutions business

·

Proven record of successfully growing a business with expanded customers and markets

·

Experience working with the FAA, DHS and Intelligence Community Agencies

·

Experience building and managing customer relationships to seek out and identify new business opportunities

·

Demonstrated knowledge of associate contractors and the competitive landscape

·

Knowledge of Capture and Pursuit processes

·

Excellent oral and written communication skills

·

The ability to make sound decisions in stressful business situations

·

The ability to operate independently but still retain an enterprise focus

·

The ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization

·

Demonstrated networking capabilities among various communities, e.g. acquisition officials/leads in the Department of Defense and other government agencies.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

Familiarity with Raytheon businesses, policies, and practices.

Education:
BA or BS; MA or MBA desirable

Majors:
Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or International Affairs

Other Requirements:

Positions at Raytheon may require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.
