This key position is responsible for leading the local community team of Mercy?s marketing and communications program. Success will be measured by ability to advance awareness of Mercy strategy, to understand and engage the local community of co-workers in the organizational mission and culture, and to achieve business objectives through a diverse marketing program focusing on a variety of target audiences.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or similar area of study
Experience: Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in marketing and communications; demonstrated track record for success. Minimum of three years of experience in building, supervising and mentoring a team.
Other: Creative thinker and innovator. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to perform effectively at leadership level Consultative and collaborative leadership style with a results-driven approach. Ability to influence and manage change in a positive and collaborative manner. Ability to travel as needed.
Experience: Health care experience preferred.
