Lead and direct the sales department to meet and exceed sales revenue, market share profitability and budgetary objectives
Ensure key account management in highly competitive category
Participate with other senior managers in managing the business, prioritizing opportunities and allocating resources
Ensure planning, developing and leading the sales effort at national level
Build market share, manage shelf position, organize consumer trials and support retailers
Deliver assigned revenue and contribution margin, market share objectives and assigned sales volume
Manage sales strategy development, P&L management, budgets, trade spends and sales forecasts
Ensure managing & motivating brokers and distributors
Ensure trade show identification, organization and participation
Develop sales proposals and presentations, lead complex sales negotiations, set up key customer sales presentations and close sales deals
Develop and manage relationships with PR and marketing companies

Experience of 10 years in the Food and Beverage Industry with managing distribution channels
Experience in direct and distributor business models
Experience in convenience store distribution particularly valuable
Experience in Classical sales training with major CPG firm
Experience in selling and merchandising to clients such as convenience stores, major national and regional grocery chains retailers
Knowledge of point of sale product placement and packaging in a variety of retail environments and in-depth knowledge of slotting fees, promotions and other marketing tools
Understanding of all channels where convenience-type food products are sold, including convenience stores, groceries, supermarkets, big box and alternative channels and understanding of how to manage those channels
Contacts with brokers and distributors
Strong ability to lead cross functional teams and to train/develop employees
History of success in sales and distribution of convenience store food products
Ability to sell growth brands to retailers
Demonstrated ability to successfully multi task
Strong analytical skills
Bachelors Degree in sales, marketing or related topic
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the United States; must not require sponsorship
