Responsibilities

The District Manager will be accountable for attaining sales forecast goals across all territories
within District. They will lead a team of high performing Sales Representatives as well as
manage all account activity within designated District. The District Manager will provide
motivational leadership and strategic direction to the Sales Representatives in order to achieve
performance objectives.

Participate in the selection top performers in their respective Districts

Lead and direct a team of CSO representatives to promote Qnexa to targeted markets

Set ambitious District goals and identify strategic business opportunities.

Develop and execute a tactical business plan for District.

Ensure all goals for District are met or exceeded; perform quarterly business reviews and
provide leadership and strategic direction to Sales Representatives in order to achieve
performance objectives.

Drive and monitor a compliant and ethical work environment

Work with Sales Representatives in District on a consistent basis evaluating their
interaction with key customers, providing them with coaching and feedback on sales
presentations.

Work collaboratively with other District Managers, serve as a resource within the region
and leverage the expertise of others.

Ensure the needs of all internal and external customers are being met by building
relationships and delivering innovative solutions.

Work closely with RD, peers and the home office to achieve sales objectives.

Assist in development of District budgets and continue to evaluate and ensure fiscal
targets are met

Work collaboratively with CSO representatives and liaisons to optimize individual
performance, hiring of top talent, and consistent sales plan execution

REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS or equivalent required

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare

Previous DM sales management experience required (2-5 years)

Experience building a sales team from scratch

Demonstrated leadership, communication and presentation skills

Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals;

Must be located in, and have worked in district applying for

Preferred Skills:
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
PCP/Endocrinology

Obesity/diabetes market experience

Launch experience

Experience working with a Contract Sales Organization (CSO)
