Essential Functions of Job
Responsible for the overall management of multiple store and service center locations.
Perform all functions necessary for the development of sales and profits of assigned stores and service center. Review P&L statements monthly with operations controller.
Supervise and evaluate activities of all management within assigned district, providing advice, counsel and guidance, leadership, motivation and accountability for performance. Complete performance appraisals in accordance with company policy.
Provide guidance and assistance to key personnel to ensure sales growth, financial integrity and the protection of the company assets.
Implement company policies and procedures. Monitor compliance and help management hold all employees accountable for compliance.
Provide training for management and assist them with the development of their people.
Prepare monthly and annual sales budgets and forecasts for all assigned stores within the district.
Education and Qualifications
Education: BS or BA degree in business with courses in areas such as accounting, economics, management or the equivalent.
Experience: Five or more years in retail sales management and merchandising. Must have previous budget responsibility with a successful history of managing sales growth and procuring profits. Multi store management experience preferred.
An entrepreneurial attitude and approach with good business sense.
Ability to effectively communicate with people.
Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings.
Travel within the district is required as well as limited overnight travel.
