Establish & maintain the distributor network within the designated territory (NE/KS/MO/IA/IL).
Effectively train distribution and end-users in product knowledge, applications & merchandising techniques to maximize potential sales of Donaldson products.
Ability to focus on DCI market initiatives
Affectively build a business plan
Develop Brand awareness in Industrial & Mobile Hydraulic Markets
Continuous feedback of industry trends with marketing and engineering
Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the territory's distributors, implement addition, replacement and cancellation to the distributor listing.
Travel at least 60% to visit customers.
Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical emphasis preferred) with a minimum of 3 years industrial or technical sales.
Hydraulics/fluid power experience strongly preferred.
Strong sales aptitude with excellent communication and organization skills.
Project management experience preferred.
Ability and willingness to travel at least 60%.
Target location for this role would be Southeastern Iowa/Western Illinois region.
