POSITION PURPOSE This position covers the Midwest Territory for The Home Depot, At Home Services. The Division Director is responsible for retaining full accountability and responsibility for the division and is accountable for branch performance, including cost controls, capital expenditures and profitability. The position is also responsible for ensuring the division meets defined performance metrics and targets, including customer satisfaction. This function provides management and leadership to sales and installation to ensure revenue targets are being met. The Division Director is also responsible for recruiting and developing staff. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
Management and leadership of branches to ensure the division meets and exceeds revenue, profit and VOC targets
Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by focusing on quality sales and installation activities.

Recruiting, development and management of sales and install staff NATURE AND SCOPE -
Position reports to VP At Home Services.
Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues -- including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
Recruiting, development and management of sales and install staff ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment test if applicable. EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent in a field of study related to the job. YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 6 CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES - PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS -
Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle.
Must be flexible to work nights, holidays and weekends. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - * 10+ years of knowledge or experience in the home improvement industry * Knowledge or experience in the in home selling environment, home improvement industry and/or general construction industry * Prior experience managing P&L, averaging 75mm to 200mm in revenue and managing 10-15 direct reports in multiple locations * Manage/drive operations projects and process improvements. Identify and analyze the fundamental components of problems and develop and implement processes that add value to the Home Depot. * Experience managing a complex business across multiple sites * Strategic and analytical skills KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES - * Divisional management of an in-home sales team and divisional installation team * Proven success in recruiting, managing, training and developing sales and installation staff * Ability to successfully drive performance in a large territory through effective management and leadership * Training of divisional sales and installation management teams * Manage divisional expenses to meet and exceed margin
