The Division Director is the senior member of the KAS Delaware team and is responsible for providing oversight to residential, healthcare and behavioral departments. The Division Director will serve as the KAS Delaware primary point of contact for regulatory and funding agencies. This position works closely with families to ensure individual service needs are met. The Division Director will implement all job responsibilities in a manner consistent with the agency vision and mission and will provide values-driven leadership to the organization in clinical, supervisory, fiscal, human resource and strategic planning areas.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in related field; A minimum of ten years of progressive experience including administration, supervision and management experience in a highly related field with three years of executive/senior leadership experience. Experience with State of DE (DDDS) regulations and policy is strongly preferred.
*The position will interact frequently with other employees throughout Keystone Human Services, requiring the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with people of diverse personalities, attitudes and temperament.
*Knowledge of human services to include program methodologies, regulatory and operational standards
*Familiarity with best practice standards to include person- centered planning, self-determination and community integration and inclusion
*Knowledge of and commitment to continuous quality improvement principles
*Ability to work independently with general direction and supervision in a complex and demanding environment; Flexible and adaptable with strong time management and organizational skills to meet time sensitive deadlines; Able to respond effectively in high stress/crisis situations.
*Able to successfully complete a thorough background check; Valid driver's license.
