Position Summary:
The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

The Autism & other DD programs are in need of someone to drive a UNM car or seven passenger van to transport and accompany staff members around the state to homes of families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and report vehicle problems as detected.

This position requires flexible hours as appropriate to program requirements, and occasional overnight stays.

This is an on-call position and is not benefits eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:
Less than high school; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Valid UNM vehicle operator's permit.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience driving within the state of New Mexico.

Able to do occasional overnight stays.
