We are currently looking to add a Chemicals Driver to join the Baker Hughes team supporting the Gulf of Mexico located at our Rayne facility in Louisiana. This opening will be responsible for hauling chemicals from plant site to customer location.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Responsible for hauling chemicals from plant site to customer location
Responsible for pumping chemicals from truck into customer tanks
Knowledge of DOT regulations and handling of hazardous material
Treat customer wells while on-site
Special duties as assigned
Travel 75% of the time within assigned territory (no overnight travel)
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience with at least 1 year experience driving over-the-road (preferably with chemical cargo)
Must have CDL w/hazmat certification
Must have ability to follow written instructions to prepare customer orders for shipment
Live within a drivable distance to Rayne LA and be able to respond to call outs
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years driving petro-chemicals over-the-road
CDL Class A Certification
