We are currently seeking a Patient Service Technician/Driver.|
The job duties and requirements are listed below:
Duties: Delivers medical equipment and suppli
es to patient or client.
Performs equipment set ups in a timely and professional manner.
Assists, when necessary, the pulling of equipment and supplies from the warehouse as prescribed on patient or client delivery tickets.
Loads the equipment, oxygen systems, and related supplies on to a delivery vehicle.
Determines or obtains daily route, then drives delivery vehicles on that route, to deliver equipment and/or supplies to patient/client in a timely manner.
Provides patient or client orientation, instructing on the proper use of equipment
Picks up and returns equipment as directed per company policy
Performs warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required
Performs other duties and activities as assigned
Experience with medical supply company
Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology
Knowledge of orthopedics and mastectomy fitting
Excellent phone and customer relations skills
Detail oriented and great organizational skills
Familiar with Southern California Highways and Streets
Experience pulling and setting up orders
High School Diploma and/or GED
Must be 21 years of age
Must possess a valid drivers license with less than 2 pts
Must provide DMV printout current within last 30 days
DOT certification preferred
experience with medical terminology
experience with DME preferred
medical assistant/CNA experience preferred
Bilingual preferred not required
Physical Effort :
Minimum physical requirements are the ability lift up to 50 lbs
