The Cage Cashier (Primary Position) is responsible for cashiering duties within the Casino Cage, is called upon to fill the Cage Shift Supervisor (Secondary Position) position when needed. The Cage Shift Supervisor assists the Cage Shift Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Cage Department and provides excellent Guest Services. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years post-secondary education preferred.
Two (2) years of successful experience being responsible for large sums of money and/or one (1) year of successful casino cage cashier experience required.
Two (2) years of successful supervisory experience preferred.
Six (6) months experience in all cage banks required.
Excellent verbal and written communication and math skills are required.
Previous experience in the use of personal computers and software is preferred.
One (1) year previous customer service experience preferred.
Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
Continuously bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, bend, lift and push/pull.
Continuously carry up to twenty-four (24) pounds, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Occasionally climb heights and reach above shoulder level.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
