Assists in the training of ancillary or replacement personnel.
•Assures that all State and Federal agency requirements and standards are in place.
•Assures services are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements.
•Controls key and access to Pharmacy and Narcotics cabinets.
•Manages Pharmacy Inventory.
•Maintains a register of controlled drugs for legal and stock control purposes.
•Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
•Oversees the ordering and safe storage of medical products.
•Controls access to Pharmacy alarm system (N.J.)
•Maintains and ensures confidentiality of patient and company information.
•Maintains patient records and prescription files in accordance with regulations and policy.
•Handles insurance questions and issues.
•Promotes sales and develops business.
•Observes and adheres to all company policies and the Pharmacy Best Practice Manual.
•Other duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications & Interests

- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district (or willing to obtain in 1 year) for experienced hires or willing to obtain license within 90 days of hire for recent graduates per district guidelines.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
