The E-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution and maintenance of the marketing promotional plan for an online store. The E-Commerce Coordinator’s main role & responsibility is to assure that all aspects of the daily promotional calendar are running smoothly from the creative & engineering request at the planning stage through to implementation of custom event pages and their removal at the end of a given campaign. The E-Commerce Coordinator should primarily, but not solely, focus on maximizing the Webstore’s traffic, with an eye towards exceeding traffic expectations. The role reports directly to the E-Commerce Marketing Manager or Associate Manager.
ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES
Own promotional calendar process and project manage deliverables with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Creative and Engineering.
Implement onsite Marketing assets, show page assortments and category page assortments.
Schedule, establish and optimize custom event promotional templates (i.e. ‘Daily Deal’ template, ‘Cyber Monday’ template, etc.)
Proactive reporting and analysis of promotional performance to ensure their efficacy.
Establish on-site coupons and promotional codes
Manage blog inputs, monitor Store campaign consistency (themes, promo strategy), and On-Site Rewards.
Support third-party ‘Partner Marketing’ initiatives and Social Media planning
Own the process of getting creative requests for the store’s promotional calendar into the queue and manage the time needed to successfully complete the request.
Own the process of getting all necessary engineering tickets into the queue and manage the entire list of requests, re-ordering the priorities as necessary under guidance from the e-Commerce Manager.
BA/BS Degree required.
0 - 2+ years of work experience, preferably with experience in e-commerce websites.
Strong analytical skills. Solid understanding of online and direct marketing programs a plus.
A love & deep understanding of the television industry.
Self-starter. Strong project management skills.
Great organizational and time management skills on a personal and team level are a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role as there is frequent interacting with clients, vendors and other functional areas of the business.
Results oriented, great attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
