IT Risk & Security Management's (ITRSM) purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm’s computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. IT Risk and Controls
: Oversight and governance of IT Risk across the firm including IT Risk posture, IT Risk assessment framework, IT regulatory compliance and IT policies and standards.
The E-Discovery Specialist will act as a lead in managing confidential Legal, Compliance, and HR related investigations. The specialist will be responsible for meticulously performing Identity Management, conduct searches against messaging/archive systems, and securely handing data over to Legal, Compliance, and HR within Service Level.
Seeking a self-motivated, organized, team oriented person to act as a workflow coordinator and data recovery specialist. The individual(s) in this role should be familiar with the E-Discovery and forensic recovery of data from e.g. MS Exchange, Enterprise Vault, Assentor, Digital Safe. Will also be responsible for handling requests from Legal for data collection and preservation and will coordinate and oversee fulfillment of these requests until all data is handed off to Legal or verified as being preserved.
Act as a liaison between the E-Discovery team and global Admins and data center contacts. (tape operations areas/data centers, etc) to manage various legal restoration and preservation requests)
Research and retrieve/preserve employee data in support of ongoing litigation and regulatory requirements
Research requires using numerous employee and asset data sources
Retrievals include restorations from tape, Digital Safe, Enterprise Vault, Exchange and Facetime.
Preserving includes verification of preservation by data center operations
Coordinate with internal Data Center Operations (DCO) and external vendors to restore data with appropriate chain-of-custody documentation
Reconcile restored data and coordinate hand off to Legal
Administering case work through detailed updates to the case management system
Ensure that proper chain-of-custody and case completion protocol is being met
Ensure that Legal requests are progressing and Legal deadlines are being met
Pro-active management and resolution of escalations
Work with vendors as necessary to satisfy legal requests
3+ years experience in the IT field preferably with L1, L2 Helpdesk or Desktop Support experience
Organizational knowledge of JPMC a strong plus
E-Discovery or litigation related experience a plus
Experience with records management and familiarity with record retention schedules
Highly organized and an effective communicator
Knowledge/Use of email and IM message archiving systems like Digital Safe, KVS, Enterprise Vault, and Actiance a must.
Experience with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Exchange mail platforms.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
