E-mail is one of the most important ways we communicate with our user base, and we want to do it better. That’s why we’re looking for bad ass E-mail Marketing Manager to create and drive the strategy, execution, and analysis of our e-mail marketing program. Drive the e-mail marketing strategy and execution of campaigns

Develop witty and professional content that drives interest and acquisition

Design and own e-mail and communication templates, content, promos, and landing pages for e-mail marketing campaigns

Develop e-mail programs to convert prospects into subscribers, maximize subscriber engagement/retention, and win back former subscribers

Maximize revenue from current subscribers through the use of cross-sells, upsells and special offers.

Develop and implement user segmentation strategies of our prospect and subscriber databases

Develop quality, full lifecycle lead nurture programs that are relevant and appealing to target audience

Design outreach strategy that provides constant contact to customers without becoming annoying, overwhelming or boring

Champion best practices with key stakeholders ensuring vested interest in the success of e-mail marketing campaigns

Develop and analyze key marketing metrics to ensure campaigns are meeting revenue and acquisition cost goals

Help manage e-mail and database marketing tools

Analyze back-end data of e-mail campaigns, make recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness as well as understand user behavior and needs delivering the right message to the right customer at the right time

You are kick ass e-mail marketer that thrives on results

Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business preferred

3-5 years experience building and implementing successful e-mail marketing programs

Expert Experience with Marketo or the like (Eloqua or Silverpop or Pardot), Salesforce.com, and other e-mail programs

Creative marketer with the ability to propose and build new campaigns and programs

Expert knowledge of e-mail and direct marketing principles and best practices

Passion for A/B testing and optimizing the performance of programs

Experience building tailored e-mail nurture campaigns for different user segments

Excellent communication skills and compelling copywriter

Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines

Expert knowledge of e-mail best practices including targeted lists, subject lines, messaging, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM/anti-spam legislation

Strong analytic skills, including experience with quantitative test design, customer segmentation, tracking results, and interpreting key learnings
