This position is part of Lakeland HealthCare’s Electronic Health Record project. This high profile project will have a sound impact on the core operations and processes of the organization. We are looking for individuals with high energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for results!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the successful implementation of EHR software application including analysis, build, troubleshooting and optimization. Works collaboratively with EHR Project Managers for implementations, post-implementation activities, upgrades and optimization. Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with physicians and user departments to ensure appropriate training and utilization of EHR. Leads and participates in the implementation of the EHR software to end users including analysis, building, training, troubleshooting, go-live and post go-live support and optimization. Interacts with internal departments to understand EHR business requirements. Analyzes operational workflow and EHR system features to guide gap analysis, options, decision-making and maintenance. Serves as consultant for issues and topics related to an electronic health record; serves as a conduit for aligning resources and activities related to EHR topics and issues

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management and/or equivalent education/experience in healthcare related field required. Current Registered Pharmacist License, State of Michigan required. A minimum of three years healthcare experience preferred. Previous pharmacy experience preferred. Previous experience with implementing, configuring and/or supporting vendor supplied software. Project management and/or workflow analysis experience required. Clinical experience preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Must have working knowledge of clinical terminology and healthcare operations. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
