The primary responsibility of the Implementation/Support Specialist is to work with account managers and technical staff to ensure successful customer implementations of Doctorsoft’s EHR for eye doctors. This role will involve working on multiple projects simultaneously and will require travelling to customer practice locations in different regions of the country.

Job Responsibilties:

Customer Training/Support
- Training customer staff on use of Doctorsoft EHR, including training doctors, practice managers, technicians, front office and billers in the clinical and related workflows.
- Remote and onsite support and issue triage/resolution for customers during and after implementation, and most importantly during “Go-Live”.
- Remote and onsite account configuration and coordination with production operations staff to prepare account for live usage.
- Various projects to ensure that the customers can optimally use Doctorsoft EHR, including responding to inquiries related to change management and issues affecting use of Doctorsoft in the customer’s workflow.
- Preparation of online documents to enable customers to minimize paper-based processes that are required.

- Assess customer technical environment to ensure that customer has appropriate technical equipment and capabilities for EHR use
- Advise customer and their IT support resources, or coordinate response to customer, on technical issues related to diagnostic equipment and billing integration
- Support customers in achieving “Meaningful Use” by reviewing and analyzing usage reports
Research and Analytical
- Analyze customer data imports to ensure proper mapping, and data quality and integrity
- Support customers in achieving “Meaningful Use” by reviewing and analyzing usage reports

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2 years experience in health care setting or demonstrated ability to learn a new industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of solutions-oriented services team
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in interacting with customers
- Strong computer skills, and the ability and desire to advance technically
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to simplify and explain complex topics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to travel
