Delta Construction Partners is a National Executive Search and Management Consulting Firm for the Nation's premier General and Electrical Contractors and Industry professionals. Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Houston, TX office.

The Project Engineer will collaborate strongly with the Field Installation team. This position frequently interacts with customers, co-workers, management and local governing authorities. The position is highly administrative and requires a significant amount of independent judgment and decision making.

: Minimum of 2 Years of work-related skill, knowledge, and experience

: Experience in electrical sub-contracting/contracting and construction is highly desirable

: Must hold a valid Texas apprentice or journeyman electrical license

: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

: Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations

: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of construction and operations

: Above average knowledge of business software including Accubid, MS Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access; Internet browsing to find information

: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

: Skilled in prioritizing, organization and time management

: Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment

: Strong employment stability

: Must be professionally driven and a team player.

: Works well with short term deadlines

: Bilingual ability (Spanish) is a big plus

: Managing time-sheets for field employees and subcontractors

: Assisting with manpower scheduling and production

: Train field employees on Company policies & procedures

: Assist with all field communications with project management team

: Managing vouchers and purchase orders

: Executing safety inspections and preparing safety reports

: Assist in the execution of all aspects of jobs from start to finish

: Ordering plans, specifications for bids, making copies of drawings for projects

: Monitoring job cost data and expense tracking; including labor progress, Home Depot, common material, tools, equipment rentals, repairs

: Participate in field activities whenever time allows

: Interacting with customers to provide job data and attending job meetings

Must have a College Degree or pursuing degree in Construction Science, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or Business Administration
