We currently seek a dynamic Employee Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. In this vital role, you will perform a variety of complex and analytical tasks related to employee relations regarding Human Resource policies and procedures to promote positive employee relations within the organization and minimize risk. Specifically, you will: Conduct investigations, documentation, analyses and write comprehensive fact finding reports on employee relations issues such as harassment complaints, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, Wage and Hour and workplace misconduct. Interpret and apply Winthrop policies and procedures, past practices and applicable federal and state laws and regulations to decisions impacting employer-employee relations; make action plan recommendations to management.

Prepare responses to claims filed with state and federal regulatory agencies (e.g., EEOC, DOL, etc.) for review by HR management; gathers documents required for discovery in employment litigation matters at the request of the HR management and/or outside legal counsel. Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. To quality, you must possess: 2-4 years of employee relations experience, Healthcare environment preferred; Bachelor’s degree(Human Resources preferred) Master’s degree a plus; working knowledge of applicable Federal and State employment laws and regulations; proficiency in MS Office suite; effective communication skills along with the ability to work in a team.
