The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Instructor Assistant will be responsible for assisting EMS Faculty during Practical Skills Sessions. This may include the delivery & evaluation of essential skills in the laboratory setting; assisting with set-up & breakdown of practical skills stations, as well as monitoring & documenting student performance of various skill sets. May include the following courses: AHA/BLS, EMT Basic, EMT-I, Paramedic, and RN to Paramedic. May work at both campuses: Chester or Midlothian, VA.

Minimum Qualifications
REQUIRED: Demonstrate a high degree of competency in EMS skills performance. Minimum of several years' recent EMS-related work and teaching experience. Virginia state and nationally certified EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic. Virginia state and/or nationally certified EMT-Basic. Background check will be required before employment.

Preferred Qualifications
State EMT-B Instructor, AHA/BLS, AHA/ACLS, AHA/PALS, PHTLS, EPC and AMLS instructor certifications preferred.
Minimum of two years' recent EMS-related work and teaching experience.
