PRN-Responsible for care of ill & injured patients transported by Med/Center Air. Responsible for patient care including assessment, stabilization & intervention working under standards & protocols approved by Medical Director & establish by NC State Office for EMS. Team approach necessary. Must maintain certifications, licensures, skills, continuing education & complete competency checks, maintain vehicles & adhere to all laws. Must provide accurate & legible documentation & provide quality patient care. Must recognize problems & intervene to promote professional approach to conflict.
HS graduate required.
Successful completion of EMT-Basic Training Program.
Current NC EMT Cert. and BCLS required.
National Registry preferred.
Basic BTLS and NAPD driving course required within 6 months.
1 year full time active field exp. required.
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
