While under guidance of Senior Engineers, participate in power systems analysis, analog circuit design, evaluation, testing and documentation; work with existing circuits and/or design new custom sensor systems and data acquisition systems; gather data and conduct research on low-frequency signals; participate in meetings with clients; support and train end-users.
    Requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with at least a 3.0 GPA and 0-5 years experience or completion of college courses in Power Systems/Power Electronics. MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Prefer some experience, coursework and interest in designing power systems/electronics circuits with a strong understanding of electromagnetism; coursework or work experience in electromagnetic theory, acoustics, power systems, filters/amplifiers, power supply design, power electronics and motor control technology preferred; practical problem solving skills, experience with sensor interfaces, experience with Spice (particularly MultiSim), and data acquisition experience is desired; experience with testing, troubleshooting and designing circuit boards is desired; experience with the use of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital millimeters, function generators and spectrum analyzers is highly encouraged; strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must; must be comfortable working independently and in a team environment. Some field work and travel may be required. Interest and ability to learn new technologies, skills, techniques and fields is required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
