The EO/Laborer II is responsible to perform basic labor
tasks using hand tools, and also operate power equipment
(non-driver); For the Industrial Service Group. Operates
one or more of the following equipments types: Tractor
Trailer Wet Vac; Tractor Trailer Water Truck; Tractor
Trailer Tank Truck; Chemical Truck; Pressure Truck;
Combo Unit (Vac / Steamer); Hydro Vac; For the Specialty
Services Group if you are part of High Pressure,
Material Processing, JL Filtration or Tech Sonics Group,
operate one or more types of equipment.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by
following policies, processes, and acting in a safe
manner at all times. Perform basic labor tasks using
hand tools, but also operate power equipment
(non-driver). For the Industrial Service Group -

Operates one or more of the following equipments types:
Tractor Trailer Wet Vac; Tractor Trailer Water Truck;
Tractor Trailer Tank Truck; Chemical Truck; Pressure
Truck; Combo Unit (Vac / Steamer); Hydro Vac. For the
Specialty Services Group if you are part of High
Pressure, Material Processing, JL Filtration or Tech
Sonics Group, operate one or more types of equipment.
Responsible for safe operation of equipment.
Perform all basic tasks assigned to a laborer -including
using hand tools (shovel, rake, vacuum hose, and
pressure washer), mastering equipment operation,
assisting operators with all job duties such as Pre/Post
Trip inspections; performing field level risk
assessments; setting up equipment, ensuring proper usage
of equipment, performing general duties required to
complete work, (Debris removal, clean up, set up, etc.).
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to
time by management and will be required by the needs of
the Clean Harbors business.
Education/Knowledge
Minimum Education is the education that is needed to do
the job correctly. Preferred Education is what you would
like to have.
Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and basic
repair, including Tractor Trailer Wet Vac; Tractor
Trailer Water Truck; Tractor Trailer Tank Truck;
Chemical Truck; Pressure Truck; Combo Unit (Vac /
Steamer); Hydro Vac and/or operate equipment For the
Specialty Services Group if you are part of High
Pressure, Material Processing, JL Filtration or Tech
Sonics Group.
Preferred
Experience
Experienced in basic equipment and tool maintenance
including basic repair including Tractor Trailer Wet
Vac; Tractor Trailer Water Truck; Tractor Trailer Tank
Truck; Chemical Truck; Pressure Truck; Combo Unit (Vac /
Steamer); Hydro Vac and/or operate equipment for the
Specialty Services Group if you are part of High
Pressure, Material Processing, JL Filtration or Tech
Sonics Group

Mechanical Ability
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to bend, twist, lift & climb
Able to enter/exit heavy equipment without strain (
sometimes climbing a ladder )
Able to operate physical controls/pedals associated with
the piece of equipment ( manual dexterity)
20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected
Ability to use tools and to assist in operations of
Equipment
Ability to lift hoods to assist with equipment repairs
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
High level of concentration
Mechanical Ability; Agility to work in small or
congested spaces
Resileint energy - endurance - maintining physical
strenghth for a long period of time
