Emergency Room Technician
The Emergency Services Technician participates as a member of the healthcare team by assisting the Licensed Independent Practitioner (L.I.P.), R.N. and Unit Secretary. The position is an integral part of the team approach to patient care and performs those tasks that contribute to the smooth and efficient flow of patients through the department.
High School diploma or equivalent.
: BLS/CPR required. Registered or Certified Nursing Assistant (RNA/CAN.) required for employees who perform this job in the state of Washington (including those who float into the role.). Health Care Assistant Category A required for employees who perform phlebotomy in the State of Washington (including those who float into the role.
Previous patient care experience in an Emergency environment and/or with children strongly preferred.
Basic medical terminology. Computer familiarity. Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
