Provide Costpoint ERP system technical administration and support on an Oracle database platform.
Install, configure and support Costpoint enterprise business applications.
Provide users with remote access particulars and facilitate the deployment of the tools necessary for them to perform their work.
Install Costpoint release updates, patches, manage user access, support Oracle DB test environments, etc
Interface with users and 3rd party support providers to ensure issues get resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
Develop standard/ad-hoc reports/extracts utilizing the Cost Point and Oracle toolset
Participate in 3rd party early adoption/pilot test programs.
Master new technologies as they are adopted.
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions with the technical team.
Evaluate and propose new technologies that will improve the solution environment
Solid technical working knowledge of an Oracle-based ERP system (Deltek Costpoint preferred).
Minimum 3 years of supporting an ERP system on an Oracle platform from a technical perspective.
Experience in ERP reporting (with an “established” toolset – Cognos, BO, Hyperion, etc).
Understanding the range of options and best practices for the use and deployment of an Oracle-based ERP system including updates, patches and maintenance/auditing.
Experience with integration and migration of ERP systems.
Hands-on technical configuration/troubleshooting of ERP applications.
Experience with ERP systems in an Oracle 8x or 10x environment. (Should be 10g or 11g)
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with SharePoint-support is a plus – but not required.
