This is highly independent and varied
administrative/clerical support for County
Administration staff. Work also involves
coordinating work activities that require knowledge of the divisions and program
areas. Position reports to the Senior Executive Assistant administratively. At

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
An employee assigned to this position
provides administrative/clerical support to County Administration staff; handles
distribution of mail; schedules meetings/appointments, as required;
takes/records and transcribes minutes of meetings, as needed; types letters,
forms, reports correspondence, memoranda and other documents, as required; makes
travel arrangements, hotel reservations, and prepares travel requests and
expense forms; provides administrative/clerical support in completing large
projects when needed; responsible for the management of the EDMS filing system;
serves as websteward for the department; provides financial record keeping
support; responds to internal and external questions and requests for
information; deals effectively and courteously with staff and the public;
assists in monitoring level of office supplies and replenishes as needed; sends
faxes and distributes incoming faxes appropriately; coordinates with and assists
other staff in the department with operational and administrative activities;
serves as backup to the Citizen Services Liaison; establishes and maintains
office files.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a high school diploma or
equivalent and four years of administrative and/or clerical work experience; or
an equivalent combination of training and experience.
