The role of the Echo/Vascular Technologist is to provide extraordinary care to patients by performing a variety of diagnostic cardiac or vascular exams under the direction of a physician for identification of abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis. This position has responsibility to acquire, record, catalog, and measure diagnostic quality cardiac ultrasound procedures. The Echo/Vascular Tech performs exams using proper imaging techniques to ensure timely, safe, and high quality diagnostic exams. They ensure a positive patient experience by educating patients and their families on procedures. The Echo/Vascular Tech is a vital part of the Cardiology Team. Echo/Vascular Techs impact patient’s lives every day and truly make a difference to those they serve.
This is a full-time, 36 hour per week position. The Echo/Vascular Lab operates 24 hours per day. Night, swing, weekend, and on-call shifts will be required.
Minimum Requirements
RDCS or RCS registered in adult echocardiography, or registry eligible.
RVT or RVS registered in vascular technology, or registry eligible.
