GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.
In taking on challenging assignments, you will learn to work closely with diverse teams to conduct leading-edge research. The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) experience offers exposure to high-level management and cross-functional interaction. The assignments become increasingly challenging as the program members gain experience.
EEDP "Edisons" receive broad job exposure through rotational assignments as they actively contribute to various technical projects. Rotations exist in a range of technical and application areas – examples include medical image reconstruction, jet engine controls, turbine simulation, materials modeling, predicting machine health, analysis of biological data, video image understanding, digital media management, and more.
