Salary: $41,000 - $53,000

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field (i.e., English, Math, Physics). Ability to provide instruction to high school students. Previous experience in teaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in directly related discipline. Previous experience in teaching geology to high school students.

Brief Description of Duties: The Education Specialist will facilitate the goals and objectives of the Science & Technology Entry Program. The selected candidate will:
  • Provide instruction to students in the summer program.
  • Assist in the design and develop curricula; evaluate student progress.
  • Coordinate activities for targeted program participants.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of program.

Special Notes: This is a full time position. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
