Qualifications- Technical school diploma with three (3) years work related experience in electrical electronic systems. Special Qualifications: A total of six (6) years of cumulative specialized experience in at least three of the following areas is required (qualifying experience consists of two (2) years or more as specified in any single area). Experience in the testing and repair of circuit card assemblies (CCA) in the Module Test and Repair (MTR), Gold Disk, or Repair Enhancement Programs; Three years in the maintenance and repair of major military weapons electronics or communications systems; Graduate of USN "C" school (minimum eight weeks) on major electronic system; experience in the development of NAVSEA MTR diagnostic test routines (Gold Disk); Instructor at USN electronic "A" or "C" school.
Specialized Experience: Must demonstrate successful completion of AN/USM-674 Operator, CIN: A-100-0076; Miniature Electronic Repair, CIN: A-100-0072; and Microminiature Electronic Repair, CIN: A-100-0073 and attainment of NEC 1591. If certification has lapsed, ability to recertify is a must.
Needs to have advanced knowledge of and a minimum of five years experience as a DOD MTR program Gold Disk developer. Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office (w/emphasis placed on Excel).
Needs above average electronics knowledge which includes - Component recognition, ESD knowledge, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings (schematics and assembly drawings). Needs to have flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
