Job Description:
The Electronics/RF Engineer will be part of a team of
engineers who work stateside in Aberdeen Proving Ground
(APG), MD or Lorton, VA and perform 180-day OCONUS
deployments in Afghanistan or other overseas locations.
The RF/Technical Engineer will analyze and document
electronic circuits and devices and
design/analyze/prototype electronic circuits. The
RF/Technical Engineer should be proficient at using RF
test equipment such as spectrum analyzers,
oscilloscopes, power meters and other equipment as
necessary. The RF/Technical Engineer should be
knowledgeable enough to reconstruct circuits based on
partial information or partial devices recovered. The
RF/Technical Engineer will be required to spend 2-4
weeks at APG immediately upon starting to become
familiar with and understand the testing and reporting
methodologies being used in the Government laboratories.
Following completion of training at customer labs in
APG, the RF/Technical Engineer will be on site at
Government customer site in either APG, MD or Lorton, VA
or to a designated deployed location for periods of
roughly 180-days duration. When working at customer site
in CONUS the position will be a standard 40 hour per
week duration. The RF/Technical Engineer will attend
designated major team meetings at specified locations of
meeting.
TS/SCI clearance required.

Job Requirements:
The Electronics/RF Engineer should be proficient at
using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers,
oscilloscopes, power meters and other equipment as
necessary. The RF/Technical Engineer should be familiar
with, circuit design, passive and active RF components
such as mixers, amplifiers, antennas and other
components as necessary. The RF/Technical Engineer
should have a strong understanding of RF and signal
characteristics, signals analysis and experience working
with estimating design information base on results from
technical analysis. The RF/Technical Engineer should be
proficient with preparation of technical reports and the
collection of data on devices testing and summarizing
results. The RF/Technical Engineer should be proficient
with MS Office Suite. Incumbent should have strong
understanding of DoD ground force operations. Prior
military experience a plus. Bachelor degree in EE is
requirement.
