Title: Electro-Mechanical Test Technician
Location: Redmond, WA
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Nytec is seeking an experienced technician with a strong understanding of mechanical measurements. The person must have a background in standard dimensional measurement tools and experience with CMM or vision measuring system or related equipment.
Some experience using solid modeling programs (ProE/SolidWorks).
4+ years experience performing mechanical measurements and parts dimensional verification.
Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and interpret dimensional tolerances.
Experience running a vision measurement system or coordinate measuring machine.
Experience with set-up fixtures, test equipment (oscilloscopes, voltmeters, etc), and assembly repair.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Education: AA or better with electro-mechanical skills
Experience running a Mitutoyo QV-404 vision measurement system.
Experience with test fixture design.
Strong knowledge of solid modeling programs (SolidWorks or ProE).
Understanding of injection molding processes.
Experience with consumer product thermal analysis.
Knowledge of plastic materials qualification.
