QCTs SoCs provide integrated solutions for computing and mobile phone products worldwide. These integrated solutions include reference platform and software. OEMs base their computing and phone products on this reference platform and try to re-use the reference software. Since their designs diverge from the reference design, the software provided will not run out of the box, it will require their design specific customizations, additions and optimizations.
Customer Engineering (CE) team helps customers with the design specific customizations from boot, bring up, power/performance and stability from concept design to final product. CE team does design reviews, customer documentation, training, answering technical questions, . This is very hands on technical job requiring below skill and experience.
