We are seeing an experienced embedded Linux Engineer that will be key member of an elite team designing and developing embedded software that will power our next generation innovative slot machines and casino management systems for the global gaming market. We are looking to expand our Embedded Software Development team and we are looking for a Software Engineer with solid embedded Linux experience to be a cornerstone of our development team. This Engineer will help design and develop some of the most sophisticated innovations for the gaming industry and will be an integral part of our team. As our Las Vegas based Embedded Linux Engineer you will responsible for having extensive object oriented programming skills, project a professional array of customer relation habits, and work well in a team environment to attain company and customer objectives. This position under the guidance of the Director of Embedded Software, will work in conjunction with Quality assurance and Software Design to develop new system features and maintain current system and industry requirements. In this role you will research, design, and develop system software / firmware in conjunction with hardware product development of all gaming maching platforms. You will review and analyze objectives and software requirements while addressing problems specified by engineers and/or designers, coordinate the testing scripts, documentation and deployment schedule with the Quality Assurance, Training and Documentation departments. You'll accomplish all the above while interacting with customers to attain feedback about the stability and reliability of systems software.
In order to be successful in this role we are seeking Embedded Software engineers with 3 -5 years developing embedded software applications for Linux with solid experience of object oriented programming (C++ or Java) experience. Low-level design and implementation of real-time embedded systems, video graphics and communications protocols related to gaming machines is experience that would make you an ideal candidate, but experience with gaming machines is not required.
Experience with Embedded Linux, Embedded system development including gcc and gdb, multi-threaded applications, and socket APIs, XML,Oracle (or other RDBMS), will be highly regarded. If you have experience working with SAS or G2S that would help make you a highly desirable candidate.
