The TPA Implementation Specialist will manage the overall implementation and project management for clients on an online automated benefits enrollment platform. To fulfill this role, the TPA Implementation Specialist will:

Act as the primary point of contact for Mercer clients and insurance carrier vendors for data implementation inquiries associated with employee benefits enrollment information. Build and sustain relationships to ensure timely solutions. Act as a liaison, partnering closely with clients, business and technical staff to achieve business results.

Gather client and vendor business/system needs, and translate them into effective requirements documents. Effectively communicate system/process requirements to clients and vendors; facilitate discussion and recommendations for alternative solutions when necessary.

Manage and build new implementations and benefits renewal process for assigned client accounts including, but not limited to, on-line enrollment site review and updates for verbiage, rates, addition or deletion of benefits offered, testing and peer review of automated enrollment platform components

Facilitate contact with clients, Mercer consultants, and additional Mercer Administration personnel to establish the project plan requirements for each new implementation and successive client benefits renewal

Manage client data implementation timelines by coordinating with internal subject matter experts and department managers to assure deliverables are met. Communicate escalated client or data issues to appropriate internal personnel for resolution.

Participate on project teams and make recommendations involving process improvement or other initiatives that accommodate ongoing industry changes, and ad hoc business needs.

Effectively document system and business process changes for business and technical audiences with clarity, completeness, and specificity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred

3-5 years experience in data analysis and development of technical specifications, HRIS systems, or Benefits Administration preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Ability to influence others without formal authority

Ability to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication.

Software knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint preferred
