Employment Coordinator: Contributes to patient services by developing recruitment strategies and managing the recruitment process for various departments within the Shands system and assigned subsidiaries. Assures compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as licensure and accreditation requirements.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
BS degree in business/related field and one year of professional HR experience, with healthcare recruitment experience strongly preferred. 4 years of related professional HR experience, to include interviewing and hiring duties, may be substituted in lieu of the educational requirement.
Prior experience must demonstrate successes in managing complex and large-scale initiatives, with significant legal and/or financial impact to the organization. Direct responsibility for analysis, communication and implementation of strategic initiatives in a complex environment is required.
The successful candidate must be organized, able to multitask, have excellent problem-solving skills, handle large volumes of work independently and effectively communicate with a diverse customer base. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of computer programs; knowledge of HR systems (PeopleSoft) strongly preferred.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver"
Licensure/Certification/Registration: PHR certification preferred
