A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adults with a disability is required. Required to have a valid North Carolina driver’s license, good driving record and be insurable with reliable transportation.
The Job Coach’s primary duties are to secure community based employment for individuals with disabilities. The Job Coach will provide evaluation, job development and intensive training services in the community for the individuals served and supported. The job coach will be the primary contact for VR counselors for all individuals assigned. This applicant needs to know the Greensboro area and the businesses in this area. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule/hours and travel will be required. Seeking energetic, self-motivated, hard working person to join our team to provide supports to individuals with disabilities in community based employment. Excellent communication, organizational and computer skills are required. Maintain case records as required by licensing and funding bodies’ standards and regulations. Will be required to work in multiple work environments as dictated by the employment sites where individuals supported are employed. Previous experience working with I/DD and MH populations required. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule/hours and travel will be required.
